| Jack Montmeat, Oil Painter/Draftsman
A standout among today’s young, emerging artists, Jack brings a sense of masterly tradition to his sensitively approached subject matter. His works are lushly painted with a sense of intimacy. He earned a BFA in 2002 from Columbus College of Art and Design. Jack also studied at the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts, the American University of Paris and the Studio Art Center’s International in Florence, Italy. The recipient of numerous art awards, he was featured in the Winter 2005 (check the year) special Drawing Issue of American Artist magazine.
