Hollis Dunlap, Oil Painter

A Vermont native, Hollis Dunlap is first and foremost a figure painter, but his oeuvre also includes still life and landscape paintings. Hollis has studied oil painting since his early teens. After graduating from St. Johnsbury Academy in Vermont, he attended the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts in Lyme, CT and received his BFA in 1999. He recently studied at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland. He is the recipient of many major painting awards and is considered to be a rising star in the art world.
