| Jeremy Davis, Sculptor/Draftsman
Originally from Texas, Jeremy pursed a self-led art program for several years while working at a bronze foundry. In 2001, he relocated to Connecticut to enroll at the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts, located in Old Lyme, CT, from which he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2005. The Academy honored Jeremy with its Excellence in Sculpture award upon graduation. In 2005, he earned a fellowship at the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, VT. He was the first-place prize winner in the National Sculpture Society’s 2005 National Figure Competition, known as the Walter & Michael Lantz Prize, as well as the Roger T. Williams Prize for Excellence in Representational Sculpture and the Gloria Medal for Outstanding Body of Work. Jeremy is currently teaching life drawing, sculpture, mold-making, and casting at the Lyme Academy. His works are in private collections thought the United States and has been exhibited in New York, Boston, South Carolina, and Connecticut.
